My ALA Youth Media Predictions

IT'S TIME!  I am running out of hours to furiously finish every 2015 book I wanted to before Monday's ALA Youth Media Awards.  I have to go ahead and commit to my predictions even though I know I haven't read all that I wanted to in order to prepare.  I'm also going slightly overboard on the number of Honors winners in each category, but it's so hard to choose!  And you never know - last year there were 6 Caldecott Honors!  Here we go!

  3. Holly,
You have some titles on your predictions that I hadn't thought of for a particular award. Now I'm doubting my choices! Can't wait until tomorrow!!

  6. I haven't read all of these books, but I agree with you that the ones I have read should be winners, and more than just with me.

  7. You hit some, Holly. What a surprise with The Last Stop On Market Street, but you have it in one right place. So many wonderful books here. There are a couple I haven't read, but most I have. Your students must have been excited for many, & disappointed in a few.
