Good teaching is messy, isn't it. You have so many great ideas in your post. I'll be looking forward to seeing how it all goes. Have fun this week! I agree with your stance on blocking sites. We need to teach responsible use, not just take away all the possible sites that could be dangerous. I also thank you for the 14 Things article and posted it with your name, too, on FB. There are a number of things there our school should pay heed to. Finally, using wordle, etc. to access the prevalence of words used is so good, an excellent application. Thank you for such a rich post!Linda Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14983144542632353870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2752544695499885154.post-75605861358060880182014-03-16T22:52:11.281-04:002014-03-16T22:52:11.281-04:00I wish we could team teach, too!! The educator I spoke with was lamenting about the one-size fits all PD that she's still subjected to. I told her that was "so last century" and she laughed. But it really is. I don't understand why people still think everyone should be sitting doing the same PD when their jobs, students, and/or interests are vastly different.Staceyhttp://raisealithuman.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2752544695499885154.post-34872606570855185192014-03-16T16:00:49.701-04:002014-03-16T16:00:49.701-04:00Holly, so many great ideas in your post today! I totally stole your memoir idea and plan to use your rooster story for a model for writing about animals. Can I steal this one too? Wish we could team teach. Thanks for linking up and supporting this whim of mine. Margaret Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04434866104385187658noreply@blogger.com
