Then in Jr. High we had intramural basketball, floor hockey and volleyball. Even in High School we only had Swimming, Track, Basketball and Softball. I am glad that there are so many more options today for girls. I can't wait. :)Stellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11818780665187955494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2752544695499885154.post-31690177641237915352014-03-18T16:45:05.307-04:002014-03-18T16:45:05.307-04:00I love that you are writing in the same genre as y...I love that you are writing in the same genre as your students-- they must love reading your piece and seeing your pictures.<br />ClareClare Landriganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06413627163568088181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2752544695499885154.post-37401461313332364942014-03-18T10:50:30.168-04:002014-03-18T10:50:30.168-04:00I, too, enjoyed playing soccer, although that was ...I, too, enjoyed playing soccer, although that was in 1st grade. I soon found out that soccer was not the sport for me. My little brother who, ironically is now in 1st grade, is starting soccer this spring. I now enjoy swimming more than all other sports. I honestly didn't know anyone playing soccer when I was little - though we then had some kids move into our area from Brazil and that's when soccer took OFF (though those boys were amazing). I played field hockey in middle school and gave it up for theater. Much better than sweating in the sun. maria.selkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12052847577940056985noreply@blogger.com
