I tend to think of myself as a patient person until I interact with others that try my patience. And then--oh my--the truth is out! <br /><br />I'm reading a book by Mark Batterson (If). Here is one passage I marked that I think relates to our discussion of patience:<br /><br />"Our destiny has far less to do with what we do than it does with who we become. Simply put, our destiny is to be conformed to the image of Christ. And God can use any circumstance, good or bad, to accomplish this." <br /><br />So think of your patience-stretching students as God's change-agents in your life. Maybe that will make the situations easier to bear--or maybe not.
