It's time for the 14th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!
My theme for the Challenge is CELEBRATE.
It's not quite Daylight Savings Time, but I feel it coming. This is what our lake sky looked like this morning around 6:45 AM - another warmish, mostly sunny day. There is something so hopeful about more light. When you can leave for work in the light and return in the light, things seem mostly okay. Better than okay!
This was a meme sent out by our local weather station. It made me so happy! Longer days seem more palatable, more doable. More everything. This has been a hard winter. Harder than usual. We need light and longer days. I am thankful they are here.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love leaving for the day with daylight in my sight. I was just thinking about daylight savings and feeling a bit blue that dark will be my morning commute once again. BUT, you are right, it means more light later on and that will be a welcomed change.
