Fantastic Friday!

We've enjoyed another week of fantastic books in 4th grade gifted reading!!  We're working on a civil rights unit that includes these books:
 
Nonfiction
Through My Eyes: Ruby Bridges   We've Got a Job: The 1963 Birmingham Children's March Little Rock Girl 1957: How a Photograph Changed the Fight for Integration
 
Historical Fiction
Glory Be  The Watsons Go to Birmingham—1963 The Lions of Little Rock
 
The unit has been an incredible learning experience.  My students are also enjoying their own independent books. Take a look!
